Because more and more people are concerned about their health and the bacteria levels found in tap water, there has been a huge increase in drinking bottled water. There is no doubt that the bottled drinking water industry is making huge profits from something as simple as water. But the question on the minds of many is whether drinking bottled water is really safe because of the chemicals used in the production of the plastic bottle itself. Some people say there is nothing to worry about while others claim that the chemicals within the bottle can lead to contamination of the water.

At this stage there appears to be no solid evidence that the bottled water industry is aware of any problems with drinking their bottled water on a regular basis. If you add a filter attachment to your kitchen tap and test that water, you can then test it against the water from the bottled drinking water industry. You may well be surprised to see which of the waters is purer and safer for you to drink. You may well find that you can save yourself a great deal of money by filtering your own water instead of increasing the profits of the bottled water industry.
